Available to only the best home

Planned Breedings for 2011

Occasionally we will have an older Havanese puppy or adult available for placement in
a pet home. These Havanese more times than not, have already completed their Championship. Even though one of
our Havanese becomes a Champion, does not mean they meet our high standards for our breeding
program. Therefore they may be avaliable to the right home. This is the reason we have been awarded the Havanese Club of America's Breeder of Merit and Breeder of Distinction awards.
We have aslo been recognized by the American Kennel Club for our breeding program. When AKC rolled out the Bred By Exhibitor program was rolled out we immedialy qualified for the Gold level.
The BONUS of obtaining one of our finished Champions:
They have already learned the most important social skills needed. They have learned to travel well, stay in hotels/motels.
They are already lead trained, potty box/potty pad trained, and pre-spoiled!
They will be placed spayed/neutered. They will have completed the age appropriate health testing and publicly posted on OFFA and/or CERF.
Even though they are not the little puppies everyone may think of, they are most certainly are not to be considered lesser value as one
of our younger puppies. Please consider the amount of time, love, training, and if you will, the nmoney spent on loving showing and health testing these
wonderful Havanese. With that said, the price of an older puppy is still the same as a puppy, when in actuality they should be MUCH more, the hard work is done.
Please understand we stand firm on our prices for puppies and older puppies.
Havanese are a long lived breed, it is not untypical for a Havanese to live up to 16-18 yrs old.
At this time we have two sweet older Havanese available to just the right home.

All Havanese Pups are from AKC Champion Parents not just Champion lines.
Parents are extensively health tested, and cleared.
Parents have age appropriate testing as recommend by the HCA
for example,
OFA hips, Elbows, LCP, Patellas, Cerf, Cardiac, BAER,
Thyroid, & Liver panels just for starters.
- All puppies are $2000.00
- All are BAER tested before they head home
- All have shots up to date
- All have tested free of any parasites
- All go home with a fleece bed or health certificate if flying
- All puppies go home with toys have been well loved by their littermats and Mom.
- All puppies will have copies of parents
health clearance, proudly posted on www.OFFA.org
- All puppies go home with a completed "Well Puppy Check-Up" physicia form, for you to present to your vet.
- What you pay for a puppy from a quality breeders upfront will save you in the end. REMEMBER... You get what you pay for, simple as that.
**WE DO NOT SHIP, we prefer you to come see how they have been raised, meet us, the parents, and littermates.
***PLEASE use caution with working all breeders. Make sure you completely understand what their contract means, if there is a deposit required, do they refund it if they do not have a puppy for you? Do they allow you to pick the parents of the litter? Please remember it is your hard earned money. Many quality breeders will place puppies in the best possible home by personality and environment, this is really the best way. Placing a puppy by color alone is just plain silly. What if that puppy is a total bed bug and you want an agility dog, or the other way around, neither of you will be happy.
****There is absolutely no reason to not have current testing on the parents, not to have BEAR testing if the facility is within a few hour drive is not acceptable, (but understand there are some breeders do not have this available at all). The absolute best time to verify any hearing issues is with a young puppy before any possible ear problems. For example a bad ear infection can cause deafness, if you test after how do you know for certain if it was caused by the ear infection or born with this problem? www.OFFA.org has all the current test, lists the dates and the results, there is no excuse to not pay to have this information listed openly and honestly. Ensure your puppy comes from healthy parents!
*****Remember this is your new family member, do your homework, research the breeder, ask around. No quality breeder would ever turn over their puppies to a broker (pet shop) to place puppies!! And just because the puppy is from champion lines, does not mean it is a quality parent. If the parents are not champions, and the breeder say they show the dogs, you better ask why you are paying premium dollar for that puppy! Ask for proof you puppy was given a final vet check up before the puppy goes home with you. Most vets are happy to fill out a vet check up form for the new owners.
