Breedings and Possible Breedings

and occasional retired show dogs

Occasionally we will have an older Havanese puppy or adult available for placement in a pet home. These Havanese more times than not, have already completed their Championship. Even though one of our Havanese becomes a Champion, does not mean they meet our high standards for our breeding program. Therefore they may be avaliable to the right home. This is the reason we have been awarded the Havanese Club of America's Breeder of Merit and Breeder of Distinction awards. We have aslo been recognized by the American Kennel Club for our breeding program. When AKC rolled out the Bred By Exhibitor program was rolled out we immedialy qualified for the Gold level.

The BONUS of obtaining one of our finished Champions: They have already learned the most important social skills needed. They have learned to travel well, stay in hotels/motels. They are already lead trained, potty box/potty pad trained, and pre-spoiled! They will be placed spayed/neutered. They will have completed the age appropriate health testing and publicly posted on OFFA and/or CERF.

Even though they are not the little puppies everyone may think of, they are most certainly are not to be considered lesser value as one of our younger puppies. Please consider the amount of time, love, training, and if you will, the nmoney spent on loving showing and health testing these wonderful Havanese. With that said, the price of an older puppy is still the same as a puppy, when in actuality they should be MUCH more, the hard work is done. Please understand we stand firm on our prices for puppies and older puppies.

At this time we have two adult Havanese available to that special home. Havanese are a long lived breed, it is not untypical for a Havanese to live up to 16-18 yrs old.

Ace & Tilly are looking for their forever home.

CH Wincroft's Grand Slam
"Ace"
&
Born July 6, 2004

A lovely Black & White Parti boy! Ace runs around 11 lbs he is 10 1/2 inches tall. Perfect size for any type of traveling.

Ace completed his Championship quickly as expected out of our breeding program. While completing his health testing we discovered a mild heart murmer. Since we don't EVER bred Havanese that don't pass all of thier health testing, he was then retired and neutered. Ace was orginally placed with a lovely lady who passed away unexpectanly from lung cancer, he came back to us around 2 yrs of age. He was quickly adopted into a family with a special needs daughter. Breeders always try to find the perfect home, sadly we were wrong, once the daughter went to college he was no longer wanted. We are hopeing to find the perfect forever home for Ace. Ace is very loveable and in true Havanese fashion he gets along gereat with other dog, kids and adapts to every situation we have introduced since his return. Of course Ace loves to sleep in bed with Michele, and loves to simply be with you where ever you are.

Please contact us if your are intersted in Ace.

"Tilly"

Born July 6, 2006

Tilly can be described as an adorable dark cream or strawberry blond girl! Tilly runs around 12 lbs, she is 9 3/4 inches tall. Tilly like most Havanese is the perfect size for any type of traveling.

Sometimes life is not easy for us humans when we loose someone we love. Tilly lost her mom 2009, her dad thought keeping her would help him cope with the loss of his beloved wife. Sadly she reminded him of how much he missed her more than helping. Instead he decided to do what he felt was best for Tilly and returned her us. We know there is a perfect forever home out there for Tilly. Tilly is very loveable and in true Havanese fashion she gets along gereat with other dog, kids and adapts to every situation we have introduced since her return. She loves to sleep in bed with Michele, and woud be perfectly happy sitting in your lap or next to you on the couch. Tilly is eager to please and simply loves everyone she comes in contact with.

Please contact us if your are intersted in Tilly.

not just Champion lines.

recommend by the HCA for example,
OFA hips, Elbows, LCP, Patellas, Cerf, Cardiac, BAER,
Thyroid, & Liver panels just for starters.

  • All are BAER tested before they head home
  • All have shots up to date
  • All have tested free of any parasites
  • All go home with a fleece bed or health certificate if flying
  • All puppies go home with toys have been well loved by their littermats and Mom.
  • All puppies will have copies of parents
health clearance, proudly posted on www.OFFA.org
  • All puppies go home with a completed "Well Puppy Check-Up" physicia form, for you to present to your vet.
  • What you pay for a puppy from a quality breeders upfront will save you in the end. REMEMBER... You get what you pay for, simple as that.

**WE DO NOT SHIP, we prefer you to come see how they have been raised, meet us, the parents, and littermates.

***PLEASE use caution with working all breeders. Make sure you completely understand what their contract means, if there is a deposit required, do they refund it if they do not have a puppy for you? Do they allow you to pick the parents of the litter? Please remember it is your hard earned money. Many quality breeders will place puppies in the best possible home by personality and environment, this is really the best way. Placing a puppy by color alone is just plain silly. What if that puppy is a total bed bug and you want an agility dog, or the other way around, neither of you will be happy.

****There is absolutely no reason to not have current testing on the parents, not to have BEAR testing if the facility is within a few hour drive is not acceptable, (but understand there are some breeders do not have this available at all). The absolute best time to verify any hearing issues is with a young puppy before any possible ear problems. For example a bad ear infection can cause deafness, if you test after how do you know for certain if it was caused by the ear infection or born with this problem? www.OFFA.org has all the current test, lists the dates and the results, there is no excuse to not pay to have this information listed openly and honestly. Ensure your puppy comes from healthy parents!

*****Remember this is your new family member, do your homework, research the breeder, ask around. No quality breeder would ever turn over their puppies to a broker (pet shop) to place puppies!! And just because the puppy is from champion lines, does not mean it is a quality parent. If the parents are not champions, and the breeder say they show the dogs, you better ask why you are paying premium dollar for that puppy! Ask for proof you puppy was given a final vet check up before the puppy goes home with you. Most vets are happy to fill out a vet check up form for the new owners.
